Yard - Spring 2006

Edge of patio. I have a new begonia (hanging). I have mostly impatiens, but some zinnias. I still have my Texas Star (marijuana plant). Oh, and a sago palm.

Using more pots in this area. Notice I have 2 tomato plants in pots. Willow is struggling this year (drought).

Doesn't look like much now, but it's a perennial garden. Everything is still coming in - the fence should be hidden by lantana and 2 Texas Star hibiscus.

My little Colorado Blue Spruce. It'll grow to a height of 75 feet, so I will most likely give this guy away.

Portulaca.

Full patio. On the right under the window I planted a lot of new stuff. One is a plant called a "Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow." Need to get a new umbrella.

The garden - 10 tomato plants, 15 pepper plants, and an onion patch.

My sunflowers I grew from seed. Looking forward to seeing them produce.

Side yard... crappy fence... But my little Burr Oak tree is growing and there on the left is my Mock Orange bush.

Grass is starting to come in.

These are mostly zinnias grown from seed or transplanted from my yard.

Still amazed at this magnolia. In 2001 it was about dead when I bought the house and only as high as my chest. Under it are impatiens and "lady in a boat" (the purple). That's actually a southern term for it.

Potato bush. Never seen one but I bought it at Lowe's for $6. Should get about 6 feet or so.

Front of house...
