Seattle Trip

Safeco Field and Quest Field...

Brent... my oldest friend (we've known each other since 2nd grade)

This is an area where seaplanes take off.

Boats had tied up along the pier. Here was a group of WSU boats. Booo....

The beginning of Pike Market.

Seriously... these were AWESOME peaches!

Still at the market. I think we're starting to get thirsty, so we called Brent's wife for directions to the pub!

So this is Saturday afternoon before the game. Brent and I are sitting in the middle of Pyramid Alehouse and we are surrounded by WSU fans!

For my aggie friends... "The 12th Man!" hahahaha

This picture cracks me up EVERYTIME! Brent, who lives in Lufkin, thought it would be funny to wait for our car from the valet like this. ha!

Boeing!

The fuselage of the 787.

One day... this plane dork will get to ride in his Dreamliner...

Brent catching the plane...

"We're all gonna die!!!!"

This is where they paint the planes.

Hard to believe they build 747, 767, and 777 planes here when you see this little plane landing.

Back at Pike Market. We were heading to the ferries.

Mount Rainier in the distance.

Downtown Winslow...

Ok, these people must really need a lot of haircuts on this tiny island because we counted like 5 barbers. Seriously!

This is one of my favorite pics. Ranier is in the distance.

I'm not very cold natured, but MAN did it get chilly on our way back!

Driving into Seattle on Friday morning.

Downtown

Puget Sound

There is one in this picture.

Walking along the piers.

This is the original Starbucks!

The guys behind Brent shout a lot and throw the fish to each other before they give it to the customer.

This was fun... sitting around on couches drinking some good beer with a good friend!

Not many BU fans...

Bellevue, where we stayed.

The Taphouse... 160 beers on tap, but the first 3 that I ordered they didn't have. Hmmm...

Now that's a big tail!

Inside the 787 - the Boeing Dreamliner.

Do the passengers know their pilot is only 7 years old???

So they build them on the left, and send them to the hanger on the right to be painted.

This place was awesome!

This is what we were on at the time.

Nice little homes...

I was a bit tired...

Brent was just taking pictures of whatever interested him...

Brent was trying to hide from the wind.

This is a pic for my mom... hahahahaha

A different view of Quest Field.

Safeco Field.

2 great friends finishing up 1 great trip...

Arriving at the Space Needle.

We couldn't get over how clear the water was.

Mmm.... salmon...

Brent buying the "Oh My God" peaches.

I'm in there somewhere... guess I'm being "stealth!"

Inside of Quest Field.

So at one point BU was winning 2-0! ha!

I once caught a plane "THIS BIG...."

This is the world's largest building.

These planes are ready for their owners to come pick them up.

Driving back to Seattle - shows you how far the Space Needle is from downtown.

Leaving Seattle on the ferry to Bainbridge Island.

Sometimes Brent liked to take the picture without telling you he was taking the picture.

Someone forgot to turn the lights on...

This is the one thing I wished we could have done. Seattle was built on top of "old Seattle," so there is an entire city beneath it.

Last pic: I bought this tshirt that was packaged in this wrapper. Because it looked like a bottle on the X-Ray, I was pulled aside and frisked big-time.
