This big monster is called Palisade Palms... people live there and it sustained very little damage from Ike.

WAY down there digging in the sand on the beach is Tanner... and not one adult around to watch him. This is a pic for his parents! hahaha

Notice the sand dunes... not much left of them.

These are homes and "condos" that they built to resemble the homes on Galveston in the early 1900s... again, very well built as they sustained little Ike damage.
